People renew their phone on average every 18 months. Between people who have the 4 (not the 4s), people still using 3gs or lower, more regions releasing on the same day and people who want to try an iphone this time around, its not surprising that 2million pre-ordered.

Also people with 4s can do a little leg work, sell their 4s for $200-400 on ebay and then complain and get a upgrade with their provider, costing them nothing to upgrade to the 5. Many people do this and there are many people out there who want to buy secondhand Iphones on ebay.

As for the upgrade remarks of "oh i bet they will release one next month", try more like 10-12 months and Samsung who so many of you support with the Galaxy S3 is planning on releasing the S4 in February, meaning they are only waiting 8 months.

So you say we are isheep, but you are just a much of a sheep to your droid brands, just as you are sheep by not being clever and jumping on the ihate apple bandwagon.

Your desire to spew your hate of Apple, proves your insecurites with your own smartphone as you feel the need to justify why everyone is so wrong and you are so right. If you really did think you had the right phone you wouldn't care at the choice other people made.

Personally i think the Iphone 5 / Lumia 920 / Samsung Galaxy S3 all look like great phones and represent the best of 2012 smartphones. Having any one of these three phones should leave the user satisfied with their purchase.
