this gen has been crazy. no adult rated games for any system, microsoft and all their strict limits on XBLA, and nintendo with no quality control what-so-ever. companies are forgetting the gamer again.
just curious. the PS3 online community is always packed and i recently got rid of resistance because i never played it with COD4 and unreal getting all of my time. 360 owners are missing out.
what do you think is a gametype that is failing to impress this gen? i think racing games are on the decline. burnout paradise is probably the best but i honestly think its more of an action game. games like formula one and forza are great but hardcore sim racers seem like a niche game now. rally games have always been that way. its a love hate thing. if i had to pick the best strait up racer? i couldnt tell you. maybe carbon? dont know. what do you all think? how about wipeout HD or mario kart?
halo 3 kept the style of halo 1 and 2's graphics which was done on a weaker system. alot of halo 3's leverls look to open and plain. COD4 always looks busy with dust, explosions, ect. COD4 wins because of the amount of things going on at a zippy framerate.
valve, epic, ID, monolith, insomniac, team fusion, bungie, crytek, infinity ward, starbreeze, criterion, and guerrilla. out of all these.......the winner is infinity ward. i think team fusion should make an original wii game and insomniac will bring out the closest competiter to COD4 this reas with resistance 2. a sequal to black could also be a biggie. valve milks their half-life franchise and team fortress 2 was a turd on PS3.
