Thanks Danny, I could never quite put my finger on why I just couldn't keep my interest level up after Brotherhood. I started calling Revelations - Assassins Creed: Renovations because they seemed more interested in making us buy and fix up properties than playing a game. AC III just got worse. More drudgery.
@TenraiSenshi @moonlightwolf01 @FakeMythology Whoa, does that work? Absolving sins can de-agro an NPC? In the time it took me to platinum the game, I never paid the cost for absolving my sins - it always seemed like a waste of souls.
@CWSoccer07 @Hamsnowmer It's less about the right to buy used media as it is ownership of it. If i buy a new game and then want to sell it, the ownership has transferred from the producer, to me, then to the next guy. If it has no value once I purchase and consume, then I never really owned it to begin with.
@MinerAvatar @LilithN I played Dark Souls on the easiest setting, and it turns out, it was still hard. This is exactly why games shouldn't have difficulty settings, it's like talking about two different games. Even though you both played Skyrim. Personally, I can do without all the terracotta pots and chatty NPC's. Bring on Dark Souls II!!
@Sardinar Did you just accuse makers of the most punishing, inaccessible, niche series of games out there of trying to make a "cash cow"? Huh, lemme think on that one...
