8.5? Eight point five??? Are gamespot mad? Don't they relaise just what game they are reviewing? Miyamoto would be turning in his grave, were he dead. The puzzles, along with their dungeons are classics, and the combat system is a precious relic. The music is reminiscant, and the characters just as interesting as 13 years ago. This game should have gotten no ore than 7.0. I love the game. I really do. Nostalgia plays a mjor role. But whenever i play, I do always feel as though soemthings empty. It's just too dated. It is amazing, perfect for its time - but its time to move on. It shouldnt be getting as high scores as it has. Indie_Hitman
Haha, your first sentence 'Miyamoto would be turning in his grave' shocked me! I thought WHAT WHEN WHERE WHY... but then I continued reading.. : p

[QUOTE="El_Zo1212o"]Garage sales... *head shake* not so awesome when you're the one selling, and moreso when you don't want to but have to sell... (Cue heartbreak soundtrack) I was up in Oregon a few years ago, lost my job. Unable to find another job for so long we had to throw garage sales in order to stay above water. Of course, as the owner of the coolest stuff in the house, my gear was first on the chopping block- my Virtual Boy and all 7(?) games for it, my top loading NES and about a dozen games, and my old SNES and 3 or 4 games. Sold it all at once for 70$. Just... gone. I went to the local mom and pop game shop later and found out from the dude that the Top loading NES was so rare I would've made at least twice the amount I did just for that one system if I had taken it to him instead.

Awww! :( *hugs*

The first Okami for ps2 was a dream. One of the best games I've ever played.

Still I think there is a difference between a port and a sequel.. OOT is a polished version of the original game, while DNF is a totally new game having to prove itselve (and failed in doing that apparantly) preitje
In terms of nostalgia that is.
