i was about to leave as well and then i read the entire post and thought that it made sense in some ways.

i think that we can agree that halo 3 doesnt deserve it.

the winner is personnal preference.

Nevermind that it ignores the issues of exclusives. For example, it makes sense to credit all consoles with Oblivion on their list, despite it coming out on the 360 in 06 and the PS3 in 07, and not give it to PC.

Nevermind that it ignores the issue of 2006. People only really buy games from the last 12 months.

Nevermind that it ignores the large differences between the 360, PS3 and Wii, when Hermits compared their platform against each system they obviously wanted to compare it against every other system in unison!

Nevermind certain PC games (like FIFA 08, The Sims 2 Castaways and NHL 08) are mysteriously left off the list for the PC, but included for the consoles. He must have been comparing only AAA/AA games you say! Strange so many scores are left off then...

It's been a long and hard road for m3Boarder32 searching for just the right results to make a 3 v. 1 combination look stronger than the PC, but he's finally done it after a lot of grasping at straws. Kudos.

leagues ahead? The main problem with UT3 is that it isnt that much different than 2K4.

then how did halo 3 get 9.5? it didnt do anything revolutionary but you hear people saying that it was fun. in the same way ut 3 is just as fun and a well done game as ut 2k4. it really does deserve a 9.
