Until its genuinely facing competition. There has never been anything like Pokémon, and as stated earlier probably wont be. Its engrained into a lot of peoples lives, from early child hood etc. Parents can show their children, so it continues on. The juggernaut will never stop!

Nah it doesn't bother me at all. Do I think it should be GOTY? No. My tip was DOOM.

I'm not too fussed. If it triggers you so much, you host your own awards show where you can pick your GOTY and be happy in your own little cocoon with the games you felt deserved the awards.

God Of War is awesome if you like some full on violence, certainly don't help any NPC's but.

I'm mostly excited for South Park, and maybe the new Resident Evil. Other than that, nothing is really getting me going "oh wow I need that now". New Zelda looks alright, but the footage at the awards was kinda meh...

Best games this gen? Hmmmmm. Doom, Bf4 (when it was finally fixed) 2k16 (I spent a loooooooot of time in blacktop)... That's about all I can think of for me personally. Heck even I really enjoyed Mafia3 haha
