You don't need irons sights when you can crouch for better accuracy.

I think with MW2 it doesn't really matter, as long as you're playing and enjoying you'll end up meeting the requirements for the 'challenges' eventually anyway. Its not as if the head shot challenges actually make a difference to the game play since they only unlock different camo for each weapon and done give you an advantage over other players.

Steam automatically sync's your profile data with your steam account every time you close the game.

Try reinstalling it.

I wouldnt say it looks horrible, it'd still be an interesting experience. But some of the props do look a little out of place.
