Abstract: Whether we realize it or not it is evident that the Internet is full of exciting and original institutional structures that are changing the way that people interact on and offline. Governance issues on these Internet platforms and other digital institutions have created an issue for software engineers, many of whom have no exposure to the relevant history or theory of institutional design. This framework is intended to foster interaction between computer scientists, political scientists, and political. A behavioral engineering model that is focused on incentives and a range of atheoretical methods such as A/B testing and incremental issue-driven programming have been the most popular guidelines for the design of digital institutions.
