Solid bundle. Also, the only two games I own on my Wii U (besides Wind Waker HD). Yes, I know I still have to get Bayonetta 2, Wonderful 101, Mario 3D World and Mario Maker.
Literally the only game on XBO or PS4 that I'm interested in and can't get on PC is Sunset Overdrive. So, I'm buying a Wii U. Right now. And... ordered. Should arrive here with Bayonetta 1+2, Mario 3D World and Super Smash Bros. in two days.
@gargungulunk Yeah, I've been poopsocking that game pretty hard. It's like Animal Crossing except you have way more than 15 minutes worth of stuff a day to do! And of course actual RPG systems. Goddamn loving it! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get God Rank in every class, even though I'm only a Paladin Master so far. :D
@mtm2490 The regular one, sure, but I think the XL is just about perfect. I mean, I wouldn't mind a slightly bigger one, but at that point I'd also want a higher resolution screen. So maybe the next generation of Nintendo handhelds in 3-4 years?
For me the answer to the upgrade question is a definitive yes. I only have a regular 3DS, not the XL, so I'm willing to wait until the new XL comes out for that big screen alone. I also like gaming in 3D but the viewing angle is really poor on the original 3DS. I've also seen some comparison videos for the faster downloads and it seems like that new CPU actually makes a huge difference there. Yep, sign me up. This seems like a better system in every way.
Online video comparisons are kinda pointless. They are compressed to hell, so the only obvious differences are between the last gen consoles and everything else. I guess the PC has some additional volumetric fog/smoke and the flags flapping in the wind look slightly nicer. But I'm not even sure if this video is 60 FPS, which is for me the biggest reason to get the PC version.
The buttkicker and similar chair rattling devices are actually pretty fun for racing games. If you don't play many of those and are already invested in a dedicated setup, stay away.
I'm not sure what's wrong with showing the first level of Dark Corners of the Earth. I think it's a pretty good introduction and works well for setting up the world and atmosphere of the game. Sitting with four guys in a studio trying to entertain the internet just isn't a great way to experience it. :D
