Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but I'm in favor for what's going in the current gen. I love the direction in which the current gen of games is going. Playing a 10 hour game is fine with me. I'm falling behind in getting to play the new games that I have so you won't hear me complaining about short games.

I think the newer developers are targeting people like me, people in their mid to late 20's who grew up playing the NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. They have to realize that some or most of us have full time jobs, girlfriends, wives, maybe even children. Our time is limited. A 10 hour game can easily last me 2 weeks. I'm currently playing Fable 2, but have fallen behind with other games like Far Cry 2, Resistance 2, Gears 2 ( i know it's out tomorrow but I won't play it until I finish FC2 and R2). Then I'll fall behind with Mirrors Edge, Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia. I don't mind though, these games will keep me busy all winter!

Seriously! He wasn't looking for self recongition, he just felt like sharing the news that his friend got the game early....stop raggin on him already! Damn...why is it so hard to believe that Ubisoft would ship some advance copies to managers of Gamestops/EBs? I used to be the manager of a CD World and we would get advance promo's of albums a few weeks before release date. Granted those are CDs, which are cheaper, profit-wise/production-wise, but still. They're just promoting their game and trying to get more customers to buy since the managers will already have an opinion of the game....seems like a brilliant marketing strategy to me!

Did he say the PS3 was unreliable? He was referring to the 360 as the overpriced and unreliable console and by stating that he is more than happy to pay the somewhat high price of the PS3.
