I think a problem that is factored into this is the reliability of the system. I mean I hope my 360 holds out for 5-6 years I've only had it for a few months now. but according to what I read not many people have had 360's with that much luck, I hope mine holds out and in terms of new gen console prospects Xbox 360 definitely has alot of juice left, I just wish I didn't have to wait for all these great games to be released. :P

I personally liked it myself, I guess it really is a preference thing. The thing pissed me off to no extent, and to be honest I think all tony hawk games at some point or another gets boring and dull. I got a deal on it and ended up getting it free for trading a few of my old games for it. So I guess for the price I got it at it was worth it. Once again though, its a preference thing I feel.

I personally think that its not too bad in some cases but I used to play Final Fantasy XI, and that was not a game that you want real money trading going on. It completely **** up the economy and now making money in the game [or the last time I played] was extremely difficult and it was due to these people running around and doing nothing to do with the game except make money and sell it for real money. They looked like scavengers most of which can't speak neither english nor Japanese so communication beyond a simple "Hello" In most cases is impossible, so in this context I'm strongly against it. But in something like WoW, or Tales of Pirates [which I only breifly played] its really not that big a deal.

I personally think a definite balance is required in order to make a good RPG, I'm absolutely obsessed with RPG's and I mean I've been playing them as long as I can remember. And I think of all the genres that are becoming next Gen RPG is going in the worst direction. I first began to realize this with Final Fantasy X when there was no world map, after playing a few other rpg's of that generation it became clear that they've gotten rid of the whole "World map" aspect to make the game more linear thats one thing that bothered me even if its not the hugest deal in the world, its one element that I feel should have been respected, its alot of stuff like this that I think was just lame and it only gets worse. After playing Enchanted Arms, I sortof lost hope for next gen RPGs at least as far as Xbox 360 goes, and I'm really hoping Lost Odyssey can bring the light back into new and upcoming RPGs. Personally I think if its completly story driven, thats cool but if it lacks the proper elements to make the game fun its not worth it, yet if its packed full of elements and has no story then thats crap as well. I personally think a reason for having a lack of story is possibly to have a wider target audience because certain people prefer different types of stories [i.e happy ending, sad ending, etc, etc. and stuff like character personalities making reference to FF8 and Squall being a hardened emotionless tough guy vs. someone like Atsuma in enchanted arms sortof the more laid back type kindof a bumbling idiot in some instances.] I just personally think that new RPGs could learn alot from the ones in the past.

Maybe because he's green? and that kinda fits in with the whole theme of xbox and then Vader with the theme of ps3, though I think having Yoda is pretty lame, I think Vader fits the ps3 scheme really well.

After playing the last SC I was pretty impressed with the character creation on it because usually when a game does that for the first time its horrendous, so maybe with the new SC you can do something to create something master cheif esque, even if not though I'm not argueing because I'm pretty pleased with Master Chief sticking to Halo :P

I read that the reason why master chief wasn't in DOA but instead a female spartan was due to storyline conflict so I'm sure the same would apply to soul caliber and its safe to say that Master Chief won't be making an appearance in any SC any time soon. I was kindof dissapointed to see Yoda, I mean star wars is cool and all but I'm sure someone cooler could have been incorperated I mean, SCII was spawn, thats pretty **** cool if you ask me, I would even probably be more impressed if he returned instead of yoda, but I guess it could be cool.

For me its probably Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, GTA4, and various fighting games I've seen previewed. Unfortunatley I only have a 360 so I'm limited to games only on that but Smash bros and Final Fantasy would be cool additions if I had the budget for it.
