I used to be a console only gamer, but now it's pretty much the opposite. I'm a PC gamer becasue it gives me the opportunity to play many of the same games I would have on a HD console. The games are cheaper, free online, steam, better graphics, and mods mods mods. One thing that rarely gets said around here is that you build your own pc, it becomes your baby, kind of like if you built a car from scratch. It's personal to you in a way that a console never can be. Each and every gaming pc is different and unique.
I also find the controls to be so much more responsive. I remember playing Modern Warfare on my old pc then going and playing it on my friends 360. I'm sad to say I flashbanged my own team online lol. To me it's just so much easier on PC. Overall I just find the whole experience of playing on PC to be better for me.

But it goes both ways even though I built my pc I hated fixing gltich after gltich to play a game. Console I pop it in and play I don't have to worry it not going to play like need for speed underground 2 worked yearsago , but now I can't get it to not lock up the computer now on xp or 7. xp doens't lock-up it just errors out right when u open game not even clean intall of both windows fixed it.
My two cents; i have a super duper gaming pc and all the consoles. I like them all for different reasons. But when it comes to a online shooter like the COD games, i am 100 percent console. I just can not play online games with a mouse and keyboard. I cant find a comfortable key set up that does not get me confused and slows down my reaction time. The dual analog controllers on the consoles feel natural and quicker to me. Most pc online shooters dont support gamepads, so i have to stick to the consoles for my fragging fix.

Im the complete opposite. I have so much trouble using a controller its not even funny. I have 2 problems with the controller 1) Aiming is too slow. I do know aim assist helps with this, but doing a 180 turn just takes forever compared to a mouse. I also know that you can increase the sensitivity, but that just makes it harder to do accurate aiming. 2) Cant do multiple things at once. One of my favorite things to do in COD is when someone is following me to go around a corner, turn around and prone so that by the time they come around the corner im ready for them. For me this is impossible to do on a controller. Like I said above, it takes much longer for me to do a 180 turn AND I have to take my thumb off of the right analogue stick to prone. So I have to limit myself to either proning or turning, but neither at the same time. Also, all online shooters will support gamepads. Download Xpadder and it will do all of that for you. I still love controllers for different games, like DMC4. Lot of games on console fixed 180 turn by adding a double tap feature, like on psp its hold L while tapping down with analog, even faster to me than with mouse.

If graphics were not a big deal they wouldnt have $500 graphics cards for pc. They are a big deal. Sheep have spent this whole gen convincing themselves it is not a big deal because they had to, I wonder how it would be if nintendo had released the most powerful system this gen.Well lems and cows certainly didn't spend half a g for graphics, so I guess graphics aren't that important to them either. Don't know why you constantly focus on what sheep and Nintendo are doing? N has always had the kid market but when I got older Microsoft and sony took over as my gaming preference(use psp now). At the game store I dont' have to look through hundreds of kids games to find mine. There are 2 different markets for gamers hardcore spend a lot of time and money into it, and the casual, usually involves gimmicks like touchscreen or motion control. Like i tried an iphone game once and laughed.
For me consoles have replaced my pc gaming fine. I like having a analog and feels more comfortable than mouse and keyboard. Also like having not to have to go through hoops like patches to get them to work, like I've had the same pc for 5-6 years need for speed underground 2(worked years ago) doesn't work now not matter what I do on xp or 7. I only use psp haven't had a home console since. Have only played chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta liked them they take the place of ninja gaiden which I played lots on xbox last home console I had. Most overrated games to me are MGS loved the first one gone down hill since. Or Gears of War way slow movement.
