Halo 3 didn't dissappoint me as much as the other big releases in 2007. Bioshock was too easy and repetitive in the end (freeze -> wrench), Assassin's Creed was just a grind mostly, Mass Effect is the same game they've been making since KoTOR (A shallow action-RPG). Halo 3 was, gameplay mechanics-wise, the same game as the previous in the series, but at least the gameplay itself is fun and the multiplayer still feels good.

Both Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect are about as much fun as grating your own skin, the pain is equal too, though the games' mainly cause emotional pain and do not reward you with seeing your own blood, unless your eyes suddenly start bleeding when the only thing you're seeing is blood. Mass Effect might have more replay value, I'm on my second run trough and plan on finishing it in less than 10 hours with exploding bullets and stuff.

Actually, no. Don't have a family to spend time with. I'm looking after my brother's fishes while he's in Thailand playing golf.

Why can't Altair swim? Because swimming would do you no good in this game when your mission is to jump on top of buildings assasinating bad people. It's not important to the gameplay, so why not just let him drown and make an artificial obstacle out of it.

(I played this on my 360 so) DREAMFALL. The first game I bought this year and probably the one I enjoyed the most despite its problems. The major 360 releases were all kind of a let down for me. Getting a copy of Halo 3. Starting the campaign.... and the finishing it. The first time I was running and jumping on top of the buildings in Assassin's Creed.
