@ZIMdoom: At least they allow the comments to stand...unlike Polygon, that flag/ban for any dissent exhibited towards them or their content.

This was a bit unfortunate, as I really wanted to go online and play some MH with some friends...no dice. I know that PSN has gone down in the past, and 99.5% of the time when it does, I'm not impacted. Of the almost 5 years that I've owned a Playstation 4, I can say that I've only been impacted by network outages maybe 2 or 3 times for more than 3 hours. (this one hit me for the whole evening; 5+ hours). I could have probably played a single player game if I really wanted to, but I didn't. I game anywhere from 20 to 30 hours a week, and I only own a PS4 this generation. So, I'm willing to go on record and say that I've been very happy with the reliability of the PSN this generation.

I'm actually continuing my first playthrough (which I put on hold some time ago); I'm remembering why I stopped playing the game back then now. I'm somewhat disappointed that they haven't made some sort of "quality of life" improvements to some aspects of the game. More specifically, Inventory Management and Settlements Management.

Why is it not possible to simply tag items as "Junk". So, I don't have to constantly inspect every piece of gear and weapon that I loot throughout the game a couple of times, to determine if I need to just get rid of it?

Why don't they have a "bird's eye view method" of managing Settlements, and a way to simply see what all structures you have already built and what Settlers may be "unassigned"? It's really a klugy system that should have been better implemented.

Not that Settlements really mean anything in the grand scheme of the game anyway...

Not very good selection this month...but, oh well. Can't have good games every single month!

(Normally, I wouldn't comment on something like this, but I really felt something else needed to be said...that's totally unrelated to this article)

PLEASE, GAMESPOT, STOP POSTING THE RIDICULOUSLY WORTHLESS AND INNANE "POTATO MODE" VIDEOS!

Whew! I feel better now. (And if you're going to ask the silly question about "why did I post it in this thread"? Remember, clicks = interest. If you click the article, they may incorrectly infer that you are interested in it! No clicky = no likey)

Well, at least there's Sea of Thieves to play, right? :)

Seriously, I said way back when that Crackdown 3 would probably be canceled...and it's still on track to come true. Shameful. Personally, I think Sea of Thieves should have been canceled...somehow that sad excuse for a game made it to release. Hmmmpf.

@Utnayan: Do you have any links to substantiate your comments here? I'd like to see info on the canceled game from Battlecry Studios. SOE rejects? Do you have names, and the names of the games they "destroyed"? I'm really curious to see some evidence of the words you speak.

Does anyone remember the monologue from Hooper X in Chasing Amy?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3XTHVC1Nf0

Yes, it was comedy...but it was speaking an ounce of truth. The reality is, even the original Star Wars had some political bent to it. It was just masked a bit better; either that, or we were just too young to really pick up on it. Now that the original fan-base is much older, and we're inundated with SJW/PC non-sense every other hour of every day, we're hyper-sensitive to it all. We're now unable to just enjoy a movie for being a movie, because we can't focus on it just being entertaining. I haven't seen Solo...and I don't think I care to. I don't know why...but it's not because of all the hate I'm hearing/reading about the movie. It's that I don't enjoy going to the movie theater any more, when I know I'll be able to watch in the comfort of my own home in less than 3 or 4 months, most likely.

I've read through some of the comments and quite a few of them talk about "Star Wars fatigue"; if you think this is fatigue for a series/franchise, I'd hate to see what you think about the saturation of the Marvel universe!! They're guilty of three times the saturation that Star Wars has delivered! Or, are we going to argue that Marvel is a different demographic, and therefore acceptable?

I'm not sure how this is big news...Best Buy Gamer's Club gives you the game for $48 any time. They offer 20% discounts on all new game pricing. Seems like something weird to post a whole article for.

@jbreez00: Best Buy is ending their "Gamer's Club" program? I just got it for a year the other day (moved back to the States from Oz). They never said the program was going to be canceled. That's too bad, because it's a really good deal. I'm guessing they're losing money on it though, which makes sense for them to cancel it then. Hmmmpf.
