Another thing (double post, SORRY)

Like I said, I just checked and Silicon Knights are a little smart. Go to toohuman.net, and there's a poll asking what you thought about the demo. If a bunch of people had said no, they'd for sure change stuff in it. (I... think...)

I was not aware of that. I'm mos def going to do that thanks man.

It's a farking DEMO, they release it to give players a tiny taste of what the full game will be like.

Specially nowdays, where game designers are smarter (some of them... *looks at Silicon Knights* I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE SMART!!) and are checking gamers opinions about the demo, so that they can improve the final product even further.

Unless a demo is BROKEN, it shouldn't be looked over. Sometimes a demo can be ALMOST completly different from the final game.

Totally disagree with you. I can't say i've ever played a demo I wasn't thrilled with and then played the full game and said "hey I was wrong!". Demos may not get the game story across well but they really get gameplay across. Not of course the full combo's and in this case rpg elements that occure later in the game. RPG demo's are probably more difficult to nail down. If you didn't like the demo don't get the game or rent it first.

I'm not sure about it. I'll probably give it a rent before i buy it. I really liked the presentation of everything. I'm really interesting in what the story will turn out to be.

The right stick fighting was cool. But I kept being reminded of GTA3 having to tap a shoulder button to recenter the camera behind me. Also, the left stick is nearly useless when you're ping ponging enemies. I'd rather hold a trigger (or left bumper) down for melee mode and point the left stick to for melee attacks. and keep my right stick as a 3rd person camera

I thought it was great looking and fun. I'm not getting "needs polish" comment. interface was cool easy to assign weapons, runes. I'd kinda like a map and mini map.

Played through the demo 4 times as 3 classes. If you unplug your ethernet cable and change your 360 clock to 2009 you can play the beserker and ballistic classes as well.

If i buy this game b/c of that control stick issue i mentioned. Will really depend on what other games are coming out. Hey if its' dry sometime in the next year or so I'll probably pick it up.

My feeling is that if someone wants to play the same regurgitated shooters over and over, let em. I'll be too busy playing Metroid and Zelda to give a hoot.Ponmop

For me it's not about shooter shooter shooter. I just dont' want to play something cute. I'd rather play the sims 2 than my sims. I think something like condemned criminal origins where you really bash enemies would have been really cool on the wii or even one of koei's hack and slash dynasty warrior games or how about a destoy all humans game? That that kinda borders on cute. no more mario in everything please.

I was really looking forward to the wii ssx game but i heard it had quite a few control issues.

metroid prime is too repetitive!!!!! that is what might make it seem hard. i got board with killing the same guys over and over and never finished it. at first i thought it was a nice nod to the original nes game i played. kill the same space pirate over 25 times and I just got board.

Sorry to hear about your 360. I personally recommend waiting to get a wii for about a year. There really aren't too many games out for anyone (ok people like myself who like to watch or make things die and break stuff in games) who enjoys xbox 360 games (I am one of them. I only have Zelda and traded off every other game I had). By that I mean the 360's audience is a little less platformer than Nintendo's. The shooters have scored low especially compared to the 360 versions. I think the wii will probably appeal to a wider audience closer to '08.

I personally had/have high hopes for the wii but so far most of the games are a little too cute for me. Although Cooking Mama really tempts me....

You might actually consider picking up a ps2 if you didn't have one. God of War 2 is coming out soon. Good luck.
