Why ask a yes/no question "Did you enjoy this video?", and provide only a single "UPVOTE" button for answer? If I think the video deserves a thumbs down? "Oh, we don't want any negative vibes on OUR stuff".

Anyways, it really pissed me off when the dude said "however, these are all handcrafted by the team, so they are taking a quality over quantity approach", which a biased load of bad smelling popcorn. One might say they are taking a hand made approach, rather than an algorithmic approach, but that does not inherently mean "quality over quantity". How so? They are all artists, they just approach the desired goal in different ways. Just because a person picks up a brush and produce a very nice painting, does not mean that a person creating a robot that produce a painting looks inferior. That the robot can also extrapolate the painting into many, also doesn't necessarily mean that quality needs to be sacrificed. Now, what is missing in looking at it this way is the person that not only produces many paintings, but also invented a way to make paintings autonomously. Now, that is a special quality to mention.

Lots of people appreciate an algorithm that has the ability to generate infinite objects, rather than just an old "copy of the universe" (slight sarcasm on my part, towards the author of the video, not the games or their makers in any way). Also, since the algorithms allow the game to zoom in infinitely, to for example land on a surface of a planetary body, I'd say it has rather an extra quality to it (which the author even mentions).

I am using infinite rather freely here, I am of course not being literal in the sense, merely making a point.
