I should have Gone Home , but instead I've taken a page out of The Stanley Parable. While I was on duty during my Firewatch at Kholat I was consumed by Layers of Fear for what may have happened to Allison Road following The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Wish me luck that I Don't Starve, as I'm about to spend a Night in the Woods.
The flourish she does after falling to her death and respawning kind of reminds me of those LolCat vids where the cat face plants after missing a jump and tries to look cool afterwards by quickly cleaning itself and walking away all fancy.
Despite such controversy over potentially offensive characterizations, Speedy Gonzales remained a popular character in Latin America.[5] The Hispanic-American rights organization League of United Latin American Citizens called Speedy a "cultural icon", and thousands of users registered their support of the character on the hispaniconline.com message boards. Fan campaigns to put Speedy back on the air resulted in the return of the animated shorts to Cartoon Network in 2002.[6]
The South Park episode Best Friends Forever already did this...11 YEARS AGO!! Now they want to stretch the idea out over the course of a season of programming? Maybe more?! No thanks.
This reminds me of a quote from Yahtzee: "Fans are clingy, whining dip-shits who will never, ever be grateful for any concession you make. The moment you shut out their shrill, tremulous voices, the happier you'll be for it."
