I have a 360 now but I used to have a psp. I really enjoyed the psp but I used it largely for homebrew and ripped games because it had 1.5 firmware. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have played it all that much because I didn't have the time to put in an hour or two of gameplay. When I wanted to put in a couple of hours of gameplay I would rather it be on my big screen than on a tiny, though capable, screen.
I would go for the 360 if you want to put in longer gameplay and you want better multiplayer games.
I've looked all over the different tech sites and both tvs have very good reviews. As for the plasma, I'm not that concerned about burn in as i'm just a casual gamer, but some ppl say yah, others nay regarding gaming on a plasma. As for the plasma, all of the sites say that it is 720p, I will check the rez though, I agree that it may not be native 720p.
Well I am upgrading my tv set, I just sold my old 46" Sony rear projection tv, which was basically a 600lbs cube. Now I am looking at gettingeither a 42" Samsungplasma or a 46" Samsung dlp. They are both native 720p, so will 1080i do anything for me on the size of screen that they are? While both have a "game mode" whichwould you suggest?
I am a casual gamer and was wondering which tv would be best for the 360 and wii. The Samsung HLT4675S 46" Slim 720p DLP HDTV or the Samsung HPT4264 42" Plasma HDTV ???
while I already have a 360 I think that it would make more sense right now to bundle it with a couple of games then when they are in a better position and can afford a price drop (after this whole $1.6B warranty fiasco, it won't be for a while) then drop it about $100 dollars.
Though I think that they should do what sony is doing anddropped the price on the core 360or bundle it then phase it out. Not much point in the core and having wired and wireless controllers doesn't make any sense. just spend the extra 10 bux to offer only wireless controllers.
In response tocomplainers who jump in on threads to just bump up their message countand to hear their own voice, the reason why someone with a 360 wouldcare is a) this is a forum and adding productive messages helps the whole community continue, and b) the morepeople who buy 360s the more and better games that will be released.
