I don't know what Gamespot is doing - Europe got a price cut half a year ago, and since then, the simplest X360 package is way cheaper than the Wii... Current prices (at least in Germany) are as follows: X360 Arcade: 199 Euros Nintendo Wii: 249 Euros X360 Premium: 259 Euros X360 Elite: 359 Euros Sony PS3 80 GB w/o BC: 399 Euros Get your facts straight...

To these MAC dudes: Don't get me wrong, but I don't consider Mac OS to be a 'real' OS like Windows or Linux. Simply because it runs only on a very small number of machines that are all manufactured by Apple ad are specifically designed with that OS in mind. It's just like saying: The PlayStation 2 BIOS is great. Yup, may be, but you need a PS2 for it. Windows runs on nearly all configurations available, and its stability is as high as that of Mac OS IF you have a high-quality rig and don't mess up the settings. And the 'less malware on Apple' crap is ridiculous: If over 80% of all PCs worldwide would run Apple OS, it would be exactly as unsafe as Windows, just because the largest group is the most interesting target for malware programmers. I (currently) own three PCs: One with XP Home SP2, great for games. One with Linux Kubuntu 6.10, used for network and experimental stuff, and one with Win98 SE for music and graphics design, as 98 doesn't ruin the system's performance. I once had an iMac, and it sucked. Just because you can't freely choose from a wide array if software, that is. The performance of Mac hardware and software when used for graphics and media creation is great, though. So if I were in that business, I'd sure work with one, a G5, preferredly.
