seems they succeeded at keeping the atmosphere of the original, while still adding onto it. adding dark rooms and flashlight into the gameplay is great. it will be awesome. i can't wait to get my hand on RE2 remake.
i was afraid capcom would not be successful in resurrecting this great game.
now after seeing all the trailers i'm confident this will be as great as the resident evil 1 remake was.
In developper conference where they showed more gameplay they even mentionned inspiration with the metroidvania genre, focusing on exploration, ambient and all. it's gonna be awesome. i need to teleport myself in january 2019 now !
