No problems here. The 1.4 patch was the best so far, but still very buggy. Invisible players empty scoreboard and such but little to no lag never got booted not even once. Now with 1.5 I'm still going strong and now I can see the scoreboard and that guy "player_name" stops getting MVP everytime. All n all 1.5 is good over here.
SOCOM, Fallout 3, Bioshock, Tom Clancy's End War and maybe Dead Space.... I'm still skeptical about Dead Space though. But the other 4 are must haves on my list, amongst a few other XBOX titles
i would like to connect my existing maxor external hdd to my wireless 802.11/g network, without a server computer (all we have is laptops and xbox 360 ps3 on the network) does anyone know what i would need in order to connect it to my network.
Feb 20, got tired of the 360 throughing error messages at me so not only am I playing; Warhawk, Motorstorm and Ninja Gaiden but I'm going to buy all games for ps3 that are not 360 exclusive. There's only so many times a man can handle getting " disk is unreadable " error message. Everytime I tell @ my xbox "its a brand new game.... Its a brand new system.... Just work F F F F!!!!! "
Remote play has provided a lot of use for me. Say your wife is watching American Idol and you can't stand it...but it's THURSDAY, and you need to download the newest demos and videos. Your wife certainly ain't gonna let you interrupt her TV time. Remote play to the rescue.
Do what I did, sell your PS2 and get either a 80GB or 60GB. That way you will have more shelf space for your PS3... not a Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, AND a PS2.
Either way you will have at least SOME BC with the 80GB or 60GB and hopefully you'll have an extra $100 or so to save/spend...

Yeah shelf space is a valueable commodity at my home. The wifey won the war so I have selling my xbox but I don't think ill part with the PS2 ever. I know I'm gonna want a xenogears fix inna little bit. Does the 80GB systems play PS1 games too......... Wait don't tell me it will just hurt.
I bought the 40GB and I wished I bought the 80GB for the BC I've gone through 3 wireless logitech controllers. And since I'm still playing SOCOM 3 and still need to finish FFXII and persona 3 I'm wishing I went with the bigger system. Plus the extra 40GB is always good. The person who sold me the system at gamestop said sony was working on a firmware update to allow the 40GB folks to get BC but I don't know for sure. It might take a whole different laser or whatever its called in order to read PS2 games but what do I know.
