I have just started playing The Witcher 3 on Xbox One.

Currently, the minimap shows everything and not hiding anything.. Is there a way that the mini map will show a dark fog over the places I haven't been to that needs to be discovered?

Any other tips for a beginner?

BTW I didn't mean the world map but the map which shows my near vicinity so I can know for example if I've already been to a certain room without opening the map manually

I know you can press the tab key to open the inventory screen and there view the map but isn't there a way to keep the map on the screen somewhere so it will always be open? I want to view it like in Morrowind so I know all the time where I went and where I didn't in my surroundings without having to open the map all the time.

I think I have found the problem.

I tried opening the game in windowed mode instead of a full screen and then a message box of 3ivx audio coded appeared saying the trial period is over. When I reinstalled it everything began to work!

Thank you :)

Hi,

I'm trying to play Oblivion on Windows 7 64 bit, And the game won't load.

Whenever I open it, I see the company's logo and then I get a screen saying "loading" and it loads until the end of the bar and then simply get stuck and I have to close the game with the task manager.

I've installed the original game, the Shivering Isle expansion and also updated the game with the 1.2.0416 patch.

What can be done in order to fix this problem?

@Maddie_Larkin: Ok then I'll install the Shivering Isles and only after I finish it I'll install the Knights of the Nine.. Thank you for your reply

@Maddie_Larkin: So it won't change anything in the main game? Because there are expansion which are set the entire game to start from a timeline point which is after the base story ends and there are some expansions which are more of a side story... so you're saying this expansion is one of those who are side stories?

Hello everyone,

I'm about to start playing oblivion.. I wanted to ask if it changes anything if I install Shivering Isles right at the start (And by change I don't mean add) meaning I will lose some of the original game?

I want to know if it's best to first finish the original game and only then install shivering Isles or should I do it right at the start?
