DIdn't the PSP come out in early 2005? The article says 2004... Anyways, the 3DS better not be $300. I can buy a 22 inch HDTV at Target this week for around $200. I'd definitely be willing to pay $250, but anything above that would be iffy.

I've never played WoW nor do I really plan on it (I can't afford the subscription fee, it looks fun though), but this expansion pack looks ballin'! I hope you guys have fun with it!

Split screen mulitplayer. That's a feature I haven't seen in awhile and I love to death. It's no single player, but split screen is definitely the way to go when playing with more then one person. I remember playing Battlefront with my brother almost 24/7. Those were great times. But developers have seemed to have forgotten about split screen, which makes my eyes rain a furious hail storm of knives. Enough with only online crap where I have to listen to 13 year olds insult my mumzy. Gimme some split screen so I can have gaming parties.

I'd rather play social games like Super Smash Bros. where I have my friends sitting next to me while I'm kicking their butts with Jigglypuff.

The PC version is definitely superior, in terms of graphics.

"It’s clear to me that Grand Theft Auto and BioShock have more in common with a tea party for teddy bears than they do with the plays of Shakespeare.” Yes, because the developers really wanted their games to be compared to Shakespeare. Jesus, of course they don't have very much in common with the plays of Shakespeare. The Godfather doesn't have very much in common with the plays of Shakespeare, yet it's still an incredible narrative. Watchmen also has an incredible narrative, yet it has almost nothing in common with Shakespeare plays. The point of this little rant is that a narrative that isn't trying to be reminiscent of Shakespeare shouldn't be compared to Shakespeare. In other words, don't be comparing apples and spagetti. Anyways, I think that the reason video games aren't really known for narrative is because video games are a lot like an interactive blockbuster movie. Most blockbuster movies don't have great stories, but boy, do they have lots of action! I think that if video game developers can make their game have lots of action, but also have a great story that can be intertwined into the action, I think that they'd have one hell of a narrative. For an example of this in movies, look at The Dark Knight. Not only did it have great action scenes, but it had one hell of a story that kept you on the edge of your seat until the credits, while also bringing a sophisticated message into a rather dark tale.
