I bought an xbox 360 for the games, I won't be buying xbox one for the games.
"Xbox one is kinect" Please stop about the kinect, the only way to get the gamers's attention (majority of console players are gamers, not tv or movie watching people, something Microsoft doesn't want to understand) is a headliner in font 72 pt "YOU WILL BE PLAYING GAMES, TONS OF 'EM!" Just like the old days. Insert disc -> play.
"Ryse: son of rome will feature microtransactions in its multiplayer mode to help speed up player progression" Gamers don't need HELP, especially not from microtransactions, otherwise there will be no satisfaction for spending hours playing the game and getting an epic sword or gear, instead you could just keep paying for the game and opening gold boxes..
And as you can see from the gameplay, not much skill is required so basically, the richest player can win easily from the most "skilled" player.
But hey, it's "next gen", so graphics is all that matters, right?? Anyone?? No?? No.
I am really surprised that these "exploits" (I call them exploits because I don't think this is how the game mechanics are supposed to work, but yeh) are allowed, and being cheered at, at a tournament. It may be high skill based to pull this off, but once it lands, the enemy team is basicly lost because of something that shouldn't happen in this game. I'm neither a troll or a flamer, just surprised by the gameplay of dota2 that things like this don't get insta-patched. Very amusing to watch tho. Hats off
I like how people say LoL is a scam.. What would make League a scam 'Non-subscribers can only play 4 matches each day, subscribers have unlimited access to all content. Subscribe now and get a 30% IP boost for 5 days!' That's how a f2p becomes a 'scam' basically forcing you to pay for the game if you want to keep up.
I think we can all be grateful that we have these two amazing moba games. Bashing on one of each just makes you a complete idiot and you're just wasting your own time. Both games are very skill based and you can't argue with that.
I do agree that all skins require RP points to be bought, they could implement some kind of achievement system like say 'play 100 games with X champion get X skin from that champion'. Makes people want to play their favorite champion and get a nice skin for just playing the game (a lot). But still, Riot needs it's RP for keeping the game running. And I really don't mind that. A company needs money. Simple
F-zero GX 's music was so good, it always gave me an adrenaline rush when racing at crazy speeds. Good times. The story mode was really challenging, what sometimes was kinda frustrating.
