I think it has more to do with the fact that PS4 and xbox are coming and people want to see what they can do before dropping cash on a system. Also the fact that 3rd party software was never Big N's strong point.
@blackrunie @nhlcrazy @queuing_for_PS4 Coming out now but it don't matter because PS4 and Xbox have new systems coming this year. More don't mean better. AAA games don't mean every one will like them. It's opinion, not fact.
@queuing_for_PS4 Your opinion is not fact. Microsoft has put out a lot of good games. My opinion is that Microsoft has put out better exclusives. But that is not fact.
@furrynic @nhlcrazy It helps but only to a point. 64 gigs is more than any computer will ever use. Run 16 gigs and you will find that it runs just the same. There is a you tube video about it. Tests and benchmarks show that 8 gigs is of ram is more than what gamers need. Infact there was no gain going from 8 to 64 gigs in bench.
@jmc88888 @nhlcrazy @JediLegacy You can shut down things and get more speed but there are other things running that you can not stop or even see. All game systems are stripped down PC parts. It's been like that from day one. LOL. Here is what gets me.. Microsoft has been a OS maker for how long and they cant find away to use less ram for the OS? maybe they will use less but 2 gig of ram give or take just for the OS?? Sounds kind of crazy givin that win 7 and 8 use less.
@furrynic You have 64 gig of ram.. most computers only need 8 gigs to do a job. I have 64 gigs in my PC and only 6-7 of that is used.. Even with video editing, CG photoshop, or anything I run. LOL. I have 64 gigs in my PC because a friend gave it to me.. So in other words... You wasted money on DD3 Ram when DDR 4 is coming out this year. LOL. You could have picked up a 360 or PS3 for that kind of money...
@JediLegacy But they don't need all that power like a PC. A pc is running 100 of things at one time where game systems only run a few. Games systems don't have a ton of drivers or other things going on at once. So they don't need all that CPU power. Fact is, CPU's in PC's today are over powered and they are not ever used to it's max. Hell I had my AMD 1055t for years and I still don't have anything that runs the hell out of it. So why put more power into something that is not needed and pass the coast to buyers?
@Virtual_Erkan @jhonMalcovich And this is where people get it wrong. The 360 has 512 bit of ram but it's the bit of the chip it's self. The PS4 specs is 4 gig of ram but the GPU is 128 bit. The ram is used as a buffer. The next gen 360 has a 192 bit GPU and 2 or 3 gigs of that is used for for a buffer for the GPU. Also, it is bit... not mega bit. The 360 GPU is 64 bit and used 340 of it's ram as a buffer... The top of the line video card is 256 but comes with 3 gigs ram. that ram is a buffer.
