@GreenReuben I'm actually in the same boat as you. I started off a Gamespot member but basically was forced into an exodus to IGN (I quite like it there) because I'm a Nintendo fan. Gamespot has and always will treat Nintendo awful. I happen to peek back here every month or so and I see articles like this which makes me run back to my Nintendo Safe Haven, IGN.

Studies have shown that violence that depicts a good vs. evil conflict does not encourage violence in children, in fact it helps reinforce moral convictions. Excessive and overly graphic violence that exceeds the boundaries of character driven conflicts, however, are a whole another thing. Similarly, sex that depicts two characters bonding and expressing deep affection for each other does not encourage promiscuity. Like violence, it is the sex that is portrayed beyond these boundaries for exhibition that encourages sexual promiscuity. Content in media should always be evaluated by context.
