Yeah I have to agree that there are loads of megadrive games that I still love to play. Streets of rage and shinobi will never get old.

You seriously think the gameplay of the original Tomb Raider holds up nowadays? :? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the series, played all games and loved every single moment of it (minus certain ragequits :P) but damn, anything from Angel of Darkness-back has poor controls to todays standards. For my Tomb Raider fix I love playing Legend and Anniversary, only play the others for nostalgia purposes. Can't wait for the new game though.Dudersaper

I know what you mean about the controls I suppose, its hard to revert back to a analogue stickless era :P I do think they are still really fun to play though especially after not playing it for almost 10 years.

Decided to get the origional tomb raider out after seeing all the content on here for the new one coming out. I noticed that the gamplay has really held up well and is still actually really good (even if the graphics havent). I might have to finish it and get all the other ones back out. Have you had this experince with any other games?

I don't understand how people can say that legalizing it would make it more available to children. Surely a regulated system like alcohol makes it more difficult as you need ID to buy it from a shop while now anyone can buy it from a criminal.

I would go with Far Cry 3. I've played all of the Assassins creed games also and the new one isn't groundbreaking in any way. It is different from the other games but not in any spectacualr way. Far Cry 3 however is a really great game. I was dissapointed with Far Cry 2 and didnt really enjoy it and bought the 3 on a whim and have been loving it.

I got it on a whim after being really disapointed with Far Cry 2 but I have to say it is an absolutely amazing game.

I will always go back to streets of rage, golden axe, and the revenge of shinobi. They were my first real games that I properly remember playing and they are oh so good.
