Well said. I whined at first but whats the point. Its to early in the game to judge Sonys future or lack of exclusives. Sony will have exclusives once the Fanbase is built up....until then 3rd parties need money to make future games so multiplatform makes sense to them right now for a lot of games.
Doing some thinking about this there is a positive spin. The original Xbox didn't have very good 3rd party support in the beginning or at the end for that matter but it still did good taking second place. I remeber the original xboxs launch and its similar to the PS3s with lack of any AAA titles and seemingly diminished 3rd party support difference being Sony does have a huge amount of first part titles being developed, and once the PS3 gets a bigger established fan base Im sure 3rd parties will start developing more exclusive titles.
Third parties are out to mostly make cash plain and simple and right now releasing for all platforms is somewhat smart on there part. Since I heard about the DMC news Ive been some what irritated the past hour or so contemplating it, but in the end its Sony we are talking about, no matter how arrogant they may be they will not go down with out a fight and will finfish out the next 5 years win. lose or draw. Hopefully we can see some really great titles end of this year and next year.

Lenght+Graphics = Mass Effect/Bioshock/Lost Odyssey/Fable 2, etc Seriously vanilla Oblivion is 4 gigs, and compression tech is improving every day. (enchanted arms was supposed to be 3-4 discs) I gave up on the PS3 when Harrison said that exclusives aren't important.
Harrison said exclusives are not importatnt?.....when? WTF is happening to the PS3? This is more than just bad publicity...how many more exclusives are we going to lose, and when will the arrogant asses at Sony learn to shut there mouths and do things right?
Ive tried to just be unbiased for a while now but its hard seeing all the bad news, and exclusives going multiplatform, and loud mouth executives running there mouth Sega and Nintendo got cocky to and look at them. Sega only makes games now and nintendo is nothting more than a toy that in my opinion is no better than the tiger electronics handhelds bought at walmart...its just pathetic that SOny cant seem to keep it together this gen when they divided and conquered last gen.
I'm happy though, now the only reasons for me to buy a PS3 are Final Fantasy 13 and Shirokishi Monogatari, and I fully expect FF13 to end up on the 360 anyway.

Just like Devil May Cry 4 right? Heard A LOT of people saying that DMC 4 will NEVER go to the 360....were are we now at eating our own words. I thought that DMC would never go either...but it did. Besides square already said they want to produce for ALL platforms this gen port or not the 360 will probably get some version of a Final Fantasy like it or not.

600 is not bad for what you get with the ps3. if you really think about it, without out the prices the ps3 is the best console by far in gaming history. im sorry but the NES is THE best console ever

Why is it SO hard for Sony to hang on to exclusives. they need to start throwing cash at the Devs or something. Square also said they want to develop mulitplatform....is that the next company going to the 360?
Only thing bothering me is the fact I have a 360 and PS3. So far the 360 versions of games have been better, so Im thinking about what exactly am I going to buy for my PS3 other than Oblivion this year.
Oblivion is the one game that looks a bit better on the PS3 right now. Now that DMC is coming to the 360 its gonna depend on what system it plays better on and if thats the 360.....then Im still asking what am I gonna buy for the PS3 this year:( Same goes for Armored Core, Assasins creed and GTA 4.
Im not a big MGS fan nor am I a current FF fan, I quit playing after 7 because I havnt liked any of the sequels after that. I just dont what to think about Sony this Gen. I loved my PS2 so much and My PS1, but the PS3 sure is losing a lot right from the start and it sucks.(PS3 doesnt suck but just the current situation) We need exclusives and I hope what few exclusives we have stay exclusive:)
