The moral of the story is that we should stop listening to deceiving news. we dont want to be ignorant blind fanboys, it's not bad to be a fanboy since we are human and we normally have feelings for something even if it's stupid but lets not be ignorant and blind. second, not because of todays gamespot comparison but since along time ago i always knew websites like gamespot are more biased towards M$ this is not a surprise since it's an American console. but the truth should be told unfortunately the media these days lost their professionalism, just look at the war in Iraq and other political matters. and look how the media played a big role in stopping the war in Vietnam. This is the same for the game industry; media is more and more biased to who gives them money and to what ethnicity the companies come from. I just hope the days where developers used to be judged on their effort and not on their ethnicity will come again. The fact that it is hard to develop for the PS3 is not a reason for developers to be lazy. dont forget that the PS2 was harder to develop for than other consoles but it didnt stop great developers to make better games on it and it sold more than any other console in the history. Look at great non-lazy game developers like the Kojima team or the Insomniac team...etc they are making and they made games better in graphics and any other aspect worthy to mention about a video game than other multi-platform games. May GOD help the gaming industry before this great increase in sales will change to a great decrease in quality and in criterion in what makes good video game. Peace

blackace hehe i dont think your so called console of videogames the 360 will play games if it's broken thats why it is important to see which one breaks on you. second, if you care to read the news, the PS3 has better ratio of good games than any other console. while u have many games for the 360 u can barly call them a game because they are so bad in gameplay and in overall feel. in the other hand the PS3 has all inds of games for diffrent kind of people. the PS3 is the midle console while it has innivative gamplay mechanics, it also has things that hardcore gamers like. so guys, u should stop being close minded and talk only about graphics, while i am not afraid to talk about that aspect cause i know the PS3 is far superior in the potential but lets talk about obvioud things that we all can agree on: gamplay. physics, sound, reliability and future potential. gamecubepad i love how u think u are a pro while everybody is laughing that you :D anyway i wont insult you because you showed ur weakness: u don’t really know anything other that what you get from Microsoft websites and sources. u should go talk to unbiased developers who weren’t poisoned by M$ OR Sony's money. they all confirm the obvious: the PS3 is the console of the future. since the graphic aspect is beyond your comprehension lets talk about the important: gameplay: well the PS3 is capable and already showed that its games can have better gameplay mechanics and physics and sound which make the games far more fun. now, u cany deny this. While it is easier to have good graphics for the 360 it is IMPOSSIBLE to develope better gameplay mechanics for it. in the other hand the PS3 can do that. Look this gameplay and physics stuff is very important, more nitpicking in graphics since look at the Wii, people want it for the fun and innovative gamplay. So since this is about only nextgen consoles then for gamplay, physics, sound and mechanics the PS3 winds hands down. while we can argue about the texture and graphics, at least u cant argue about this universal obvious truth. gamecubepad i will try to explain why the RSX AND CELL combination is better thaan xenos and the CPU of the 360: 1) they work together, so yea if there is a flaw with the GPU the developers can use the CELL 2) The CELL is more than 2 times powerful than the 360 CPU, it can calculate alot more giving developers the possibility of better AI, physics, gameplay mechanics and particles while the 360 limits the developers in that side of the coin. 3) the memory in a GPU is not the most important because they can give the GPU a spicific work and 256M is largely enough (just ask Kojima) while the other more complex things they leave it to the CELL. 4)Blu-Ray with HDD gives much more possibility for games( 5 times more) than the DVD that the 360 has. 5) uncomprissed sound is obviously better than compressed which helps the general feel of the game and the ps3 has a large advantage in this aspect. (for me sound is 2/5th of a game) this very important. 6) PS3 lasts long and doesnt die on you unlike some other consoles.( the XBOX 360 shipped 19 million now world wide where more than half is probably exchages for people that had the red ring of death like me, i had it twice and i gave up on it) peace

You should go to third party, like for example Konami, Capcom, Ubisoft or general programers and all of those say that the PS3 is capable of better graphism overall than the 360. while i agree with you that it is easier to make good graphics for the 360 since microsoft console is closer to a computer in the how it is made, if the developers make good efforts, the PS3 will surpasse the 360 by atleast 1.5 to twofolds. this was said since they were announced. on paper the ps3 = 2(360) in power but i agree there is a downside which is it is harder to work and develope for the PS3. But this is not a problem for good and qualified develpers like KOJIMA and others who make games on the PS3 better than any exclusive game on the 360. I mean i faced the downside of the PS3, you guys should face the limitation of the 360. They are both good, but which one will last for the future?? Obvious answer: the PS3! peace

Anthony10x your source is biased and inacurate. The PS3 outperforms the 360 by 2 to 1 thx to the CELL. so the physics and particles can ne ver be as good on the 360 as on the PS3. While, yes some texture can be slightly better on the 360, but if the developers work well it could be the same on the PS3. yet the physics and particles can never be as gooon the 360 because of the limitation it has in the processing unit while he PS3 has the power of the CELL!
