Ghosts = Explosions

Am I the only one who sees the massive dissonance in that?

This is probably the smartest thing he's said in a while.

All of the geniuses bringing up the whole "$1bn in sales" as justification that the online experience should be smooth are living proof that humans in fact CAN survive without a brain, albeit in a vacuum.

@LADIES_MAN_2013 No it doesn't, not at the least. The game goes out of its way to recognize the futility of torture and the ambiguity surrounding the intentions of the torturer; that's not glorifying violence, it's condemning it.

The problem really isn't isolated to Assassin's Creed but most of Ubisoft's games lately. I've heard some valid complaints that Far Cry 3 felt too "gamey" to some, although the game's writer would have you believe that they tried to get some sort of message across through that, Splinter Cell: Blacklist looks a bit leaner but still seems trapped within that mechanical obviousness. It's one of my primary concerns towards the very-promising Watch_Dogs, and hoe that Ubisoft are able to capture lightning in a bottle once more with this game like they did with Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed II.

I guess in their quest for more content and player-satisfaction Ubisoft have traded in whatever ounce of subtlety they had left in them.

Glad to see they have control over microtransactions, makes me feel much more at ease at the prospect of Rockstar disabling them for any slimeball with too much money and not enough patience and/or skill.

This is the most bizarre thing I've ever read and seen, but consider my curiosity piqued well over 9000.
