So I could just download the image, install it at a different partition, and copy all of the files 'cept the executables and let Steam download the rest?

So I just nabbed GTAIV off of Steam's current sale but it's downloading at a HORRENDOUSLY slow speed. What I need to know is, will my CD Key work if I torrented an image of the game (I get a faster speed that way) and then activated it through Steam?

I've been having this weird problem with my TV. I have a PS2 and I play it on a specific AV channel, the third one to be precise, and quite recently my TV's been making an annoyingly loud and bassy noise whenever that channel is on even when I'm playing. At first I thought it was the fault of my PS2's AV cable, so I yanked it open and the noise was still there! I tried dusting and cleaning the AV ports but nothing gave. Is the problem related to the TV? I've had this TV for over a decade and there haven't been any noticable problems so far. Some feedback would be much appreciated.

I don't trust System Requirements Lab, it said that I can't run Dreamfall because my GPU doesn't support shader model 2.0, but in fact it ran pretty smooth even at 1280. So the question is, can my PC even run Oblivion, even if my GPU doesn't support shader model 2.0?My system specs are:-Windows XP (SP2)-P4 2.4 GHz-512 Mb DDR RAM-128 Mb Radeon 9200 (Ultra-Ancient)

Claw, in 1998. I remember being stoked right after laying my eyes on the first cutscene!

Rogue Trooper, an absolute blast to play, despite the rather mediocre reputation.

"The War Song" from Sam & Max - Ep. 4 (Abe Lincoln Must Die!). Brilliantly hillarious!

Mine would have to be Condenmed: Criminal Origins. Imagine bludgeoning lunatics and finally capping them with a .45!

It's a shame that the current videogame industry is leaning towards a more superficial and franchise-driven nature, and that's why obscure (but evidently superb) material like Okami get sidelined by the hip-and-down-to-earth.
