Well now, the idea sounds fine, But at $15 a month this is the same as basically taking out a loan to get a 360 and like all loans you get screwed in the end by paying a lot more than it was worth.

Sadly a lot of people will fall for it. Also this will be an excuse to raise the prices on a system. Would as many people own a Iphone if they had to pay full price(AKA $600-$700) for it. No, but they'll pay $199 along with a overpriced 2 year contract(not bashing the Iphone all phone companies are doing this now).

Next Xbox system will be $800 probably. But if you want you can pay $400.. better be willing to pay $30 a month for 3 years though afterward though.

Sad part is that a lot of people who can't afford to pay for stuff like this up front and would use this program are those who can't afford it because they constantly use programs like this. The same people who have $1000s of dollars in credit card debt and such.

Very nice game, overall well made. Sure the large scale battles could of been done better(would of loved more control over troop movements and such) but the game was worth every penny I paid for it and more on the PS3. $15 is a really cheap for this game.

I pre-ordered FFXIV and was dissapointed by quite a bit. It will be interested to see how this turns out. One of the things that I love about SE is that they are willing to admit when they mess up and are willing to go the extra mile to fix it. I just hope those who were interested in FFXIV and MMOs in general are willing to give SE a second chance on this. I know I am.

as For FFX being the last true FF, I highly disagree. the FF series has always been evolving and it has evolved into a more real-time battle system. Like it or not it has, at least for the main series. However the well made story(even if quite a few couldn't understand FFXIII's), a distinct world, and all the other stuff that has made Final Fantasy Final Fantasy is still there.

They have all the reason in the world to ban and only bad PR not to. Ban a player and force them to buy another copy of the game. With that said I'm sure many of the bans are deserved and a strict hand also has a way of creating a even better community for the most part.

Meh I'd rather pay for a MMO that's in constant development than a B2P game where you might get a decent update once in a blue moon.

Not to mention we have yet to see whether GW2 will succeed or not. GW1 could easily be made B2P because in all essence it didn't have the features that made a MMO a MMO, the same features that generally require a larger team to run the game and more server resources to keep the servers running.
