Personally, I like Planetside 2 more than Cod, there's vehicles, infantry combat, massive scale, with thousands playing simultaneously. Feels closer to real war than a small team death match...Titanfall looks great, but then again, the small scale, small maps, small groups really doesn't attract me much. Best of all is it's free to play.
When playing game became a job, then it's no longer a game, it's work...Seriously, who gives a crap about how other people play, the only thing matter is how you play and how you enjoy it.
Why change the formula that proven to work? Just add more flavors. Look at Assassin Creed, same old crap recycle, still sell like wild fire. So does COD, battlefield, GTA, etc. Core mechanics never changes, that's why it's the core.
New stuff I saw so far. Bigger city, more random events, new gadgets and gears, new story, combat animation. And you get to play campaign as a different character than Batman.
I do hope the devs of Batman series make games for Blade, and Punisher.
