Uh, I still don't quite understand what's going on??? GS is closing the unions? Making a new site and might transfer the unions there?

Well that would suck if we get shut down, BUT I would suggest you(Angelbless) create a Facebook Final Fantasy group and post the info here in a new thread. Facebook will probably be around forever and at least we can all stay in touch that way :)

Every series of DDR ram has been faster and MORE energy effecient than the last, DUH.

The only reason PC's don't use DDR5 for system memory is that it requires new motherboards and CPUs, however a GPU can use whatever memory they put on it as it's isolated to the GPU, therefore DDR5 being the latest(and fastest) is on all modern GPU's.

Since the PS4 is a new system with a custom CPU/GPU, DDR5 can be used as system memory and this is IN FACT a big advantage over the Xbox1

I am no genius programmer by any means, but I have read articles on stuff like this before and there is some truth to it.

And in an interview with Cliff Bleszinski a couple years back, he said the same thing. That some of the processing power is lost to the "translations" between the DirectX api and such on PC.

This also explains why you will NEVER see a PC with a 7800GTX(same GPU in PS3) running a game with graphics as good as Uncharted 3/ GOW3/ etc.

I will say this, regardless of what anyone thinks about the gameplay being not-so-RPGish, they confirmed a while back that the game is open world. That alone gives much reason to believe it will be more to our liking than XIII was :D

I think the action style of the combat looks exciting, it may not be what we're used to, but there's seems to be a good amount of variety in the way your party members can combine attacks and such. I don't believe that all RPG's should be like this, but I do think this is a fresh approach compared to the standard turn based style

Whether you have seen these or not, here are the BEST QUALITY versions in 1080p!!! Some of the earlier versions on youtube were poor quality, but these are AWESOME!!!!!! My excitement for this game is going into overdrive:twisted:

Let's see, PS4 is $100 cheaper, uses much faster DDR5 RAM and more of it is available for games, has a more powerful GPU, does NOT require a 24 hour online check, no restrictions on used games, and seems to be getting more third party support than PS3 did at launch :)

You know I just remembered that Wada(the SE president) resigned a few months back. I personally thought he was part of the reason that SE has been going downhill over the last few years, not to mention SE putting so much focus on buying other game companies.

I know that Nomura was very adamant that Versus remain a console exclusive, maybe that has a lot to do with the internal problems they're having. I would guess that the internal battle is between the dev team's vision of making the game the way they want vs. the corporate side of SE being concerned about the financial risk of taking so long to make the game.

Well, all we can do now is wait for this upcoming news which I assume will be at E3

I still have faith that it will be awesome. The last trailer we saw was great!

I know I haven't made an appearance in a million years so I thought I'd drop by and see what's going on ;)

SO as you know, Versus is one of my most anticipated games ever! LOL and I'm wondering why so many delays??? Is it because with PS4 around the corner, they figure why not bring it to PS4 with those spiffy new graphics? Did Sony somehow entice them to do so knowing that it will increase PS4 sales?(to be honest, I would buy one right away if it had Versus)

Well E3 is coming up and I'm sure there will be news of some kind about this damn game!

All I can say is that it better blow my mind and then blow my...........well you get the point:P
