@lordbeefjerky: I don't have Gamepass (well, I have Gamepass Core bc it was Xbox Live Gold and I only have that because you have to in order to play online multiplayer games). This is exactly why I don't have Ultimate, though. I am not looking for a game that's fun for "at least one evening" because hell, it's free to me cuz I pay for Gamepass Ultimate and it's there so why not try it? This is exactly why I hate Gamepass and won't pay for it.
@stickemup: Hi-Fi Rush is a really good game, but yeah Microsoft's list has been lackluster for awhile. Hopefully it'll get better soon with Hellblade 2, Avowed, etc.
I remember the 360 days even they had everything from Halo to Fable to Viva Pinata to 1vs100. They also published the first Alan Wake and Mass Effect. In an alternate world, Alan Wake 2 would've been Xbox's killer game of this year.
Too bad Microsoft didn't care about nurturing the relationships they already had with independent devs like Remedy, instead they went the route of just buying out other publishers like Activision and Bethesda to get established IPs.
I looked these two games up and Planet of Lana is actually coming to PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch early next year. Disingenuous article is disingenuous
