So... What, no use of ray tracing? What about load speeds, are those better?
@Crazy_sahara: The haptic feedback is gentle, it's not like the controller is shaking out of your hands. If anything, I'd say it is more subtle than vibration because each tick is felt and is not overly "rumbly." They can get more out of small sensations than just one big rumble that lasts for like 5 seconds that we had on the old systems. As for the triggers, that too is done in a way where you sort of just forget about it, but it's there and you know it's happening and it adds to the experience without being so over the top that it takes away from the game. Again, subtlety is the name of the game and Sony nailed it.
@tonyleo01: See I'm the opposite. For me, my thumbs, when holding a controller, naturally fall to the position of the PS controllers. I have to use muscles to position my left thumb on the Xbox controller. Keeping your thumb vertical, over several hours of gaming becomes tiring and I always feel more relaxed playing on the PS controllers.
I can 100% stand by this post. Since I've been playing COD Black Ops Cold War on my PS5, the triggers and haptics were one of the things I was looking forward too and I will admit, off the bat, they are jarring and do take time to get used to. Unlike the author of the video, I only play MP, so I was concerned that my ADS would be slowed and my shooting would be hindered too, but it only took a few games for my brain to automatically understand and pull the ADS (left trigger) harder each time and the sense of firing with the triggers is so damn satisfying. When you break the point of firing and the trigger goes all the way flush, it's hard to describe but it feels like I just shot a gun. It hasn't affected my play since I've adapted and I've been a pretty good MP COD player in the past and with these new features I don't feel like I've suffered, quite the opposite. I'm doing really well and I enjoy the feeling that it presents. I too am waiting for more shooters on PS5. Hopefully, CD Project Red uses some of these for Cyberpunk, seeing how it's a FPS.
@rodoxthedark: With Sony having to give free games to PS Plus members, I can see this game being given for free right when the console exclusive agreement ends and it pops up on XBox, but Sony includes it for free in Plus. That is the ONLY way I'm playing this game.
Make this game $29.99 and it will sell like gangbusters. Gamers want a cheap, next-gen game that may be like a 7 out of 10, but for $30, it's an easy impulse purchase. At $70, this game will bomb, especially if it scores 7 or lower.
Yup, that's exactly what I thought seeing this movie! I said to myself, how dare they use some type of barely known, difficult to pronounce, disability and suggest that people with that disability are witches. Right then and there, I wanted everyone who worked on this film to give an apology, I wanted Zemeckis to give back what he was paid and to be blackballed in Hollywood. Also, he should be tarred and feathered. Just terrible.
@gamerbum: The fact it runs great is wonderful, too bad the campaign was utter garbage which sort of trumps any reason I'd want to play the game. It's like saying this turd has a motor and wheels and is faster than a Ferrari, do you want to drive it? I'd say no, I'm not sitting in or driving a turd. That's Halo 5.
@Blade_Runner_07: It's the worst game in the series, they're better off sweeping it under the rug.
Not sure if "gorgeous" is the word I'd use. I'd say "better than the 360" would be appropriate, but gorgeous? That's a little overzealous.
