I would recommend playing it at some point, but I would wait till it's on sale, like the Steam Holiday Sale. Other than that, play SR3 again. Very similar, but without the super powers. I really enjoyed 4, but if you have other games to play, wait a bit.

Yep. Getting a product as you purchased it isn't that big of a deal.

I don't exactly approve, but that's the burden of the capitalist system. If they can make the initial investment, and then sell the product at a markup to insure profit, then they are really the environment of the American dream. Morality/legality don't really enter the picture.

Besides, I think it rather foolish to go so crazy for such an expensive piece of hardware. But, then again, maybe I'm just bitter/jealous that I can't afford to get the latest and greatest like others.

I've seriously considered buying from GS online, but I'm a collector, and I like having the box and manual. I'm always afraid that I'll just get the generics. Heck, I've even gone to the store and gotten a good box and manual, and when they put the disc in, they gave me back a generic box. I had to go back into the store and request the actual box when I realized it.

If you're going to start over again, I would hold off on the DLCs. In two months, they'll most likely be on major discount. There's a lot of content for you to play through until that point.

They placed the DLC chronologically within the game, so it's not surprising that they would need new saves.

It's such a shame. Beautiful things can come out of Kickstarter, but some times abominations like this one as well.

This isn't the fault of kickstarter. This is the fault of those who put such an unfinished product out without making the customer aware of the true scope of the game. If they would have marketed it as part one for $7 or something, it wouldn't have been nearly as much of an issue.

Funny, I was thinking of finally picking up a Wii at Black Friday if there were any good sales.

You can choose which character to play as in the Star Wars games when you replay the levels. The other games share the same pattern.
