Well the first review I see on Walmart's website makes it clear it is not worth your time.

How many of these illegally downloaded games were successfully used on a cracked Wii? I doubt a significant number of the people who intially downloaded had the tools to make them work.

http://www.videogamer.com/wii/rogue_trooper/review.html

"It's a shame that this Wii version doesn't add any new story content, but there is a completely new Wii-oriented control scheme. Shooters have been hit and miss on the motion controlled wonder, so it's a relief to say that everything works well here. "

"Each level and set-piece can be tackled in a number of ways, and it probably won't be until you've finished the game for the first time that you realise how you could have done things differently"

"Split-screen multiplayer for up to four is also an option, with players taking part in single-player-esque scenarios against bots. The action takes place over a number of large maps and the tactical gameplay translates well to the multiplayer arena, but without online support you're either going to have to fend off the enemies alone or with mates gathered around a single TV."

"The game begs you to play through it again. "

More can be found in the link. Too bad it's only available in Europe right now.

Six pages and noone here has obviously followed this game for awhile.

If you did someone would've pointed out to Jason Furball that they game wasn't rushed. It was planned for a preChristmas release and they said screw it we can't develop it right in that time frame and delayed it for TWO months.

That's good enough. The rushing commentary from the review was about how the storyline wrapped up. Take a step back and ask yourself have you ever read a movie reviews where the crtiics felt the story was rushed but you felt the story worked out when you watched the movie yourself? If occassionally yes then disregard the rushing statements.

The framerate issues are unfortunate. Even House of the Dead pushing the machines capabilities is being reported to having frame rate issues. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues with other graphically intense games like Monster Hunter 3 and Conduit. For the time being you have to ask yourself if dropping from 30 to 20 fps when 4 enemies get on screen is going to bother you. Has it bothered you enough in past games to write them off as terrible experiences?

Lastly I'm surprised no one mused over the reviews comments that it played like the original Metroid. That games a classic but when you know what you are doing can be beaten in an hour. It certainly was worth its $50 back then. It's ujnclear if Deadly Creatures would be just as fun because you have to play it to be sure but the game does look neat to begin with.

To me this isn't a spinoff. Spore was essentially 4-5 games in one and I think fleshing out each aspect makes for a more solid experience. Shame that it seems each console/handheld will get an exclusive version of an aspect because it will be too expensive to buy every machine if you are a completist.

I like it as a high concept story because throughout you won't be sure if you are fighting real ghosts or they are products of the high altitude inducing hallucinations.

I hope this gets some great reviews.

This thread offers some really good pictures but it's missing Koregang. The draw distance in that game is sick for the way it allows you to see the world you will be playing in.

I would post a picture if this forum would allow me to do that but it doesn't.

whats that did you mean Kore by any chance?Kore ScreenshotKore Screenshot

Yeah that's the game but I would've chosen different pictures to show off the depth of field I was referring to.

Are you sure those are the best?SSBFan12

I would say the best at making consistently good games for the console but I find one of them to be debateable enough to knock off.

There other companies that I like more than Konami like Hudson soft but Hudson has come out with a lot of crap as well as a lot of highly rated software.

I think EA has pit a lot of effort in making good games but EA Canada just brings down the overall quality of their lineup to a point the company can't be looked at for being consistent. It doesn't help that other EA divisions have made atmost 1 game that was terrible for the Wii along with their good software.
