yea i just called dell and they said i cant because of the product key or something i didnt understand her she was from some other damn county ended up arguing with the **** lol
ok i called microsoft and they said as long as i uninstall it from my old pc first and then reinstall on the new computer i will be fine does that sound about right?
ok i know this is a hardware forum but was hoping you guys could help anyways, my problem is im buying a new computer and i need an operation systems
atm i am running windows xp that came pre-installed on my dell computer
it came with a maroon colored reinstallation disk for reinstalling it onto my dell but the computer i want to buy isnt a dell
its a custom built pc from cyberpower.com so my question is can i use this disk that came with my dell to install xp onto this new computer and also if that isnt possible is it possible to remove the harddrive from my current pc that has xp and everything and put it into my new computer and have it still run like normal
