All right Gator fan, here's one for you...86-16. That's right, that's Boise State's record the last 8 years. Aside from USC, I defy you to name one program with that kind of track record. We didn't deserve to play for the title, and I definitely respect what both the Gators and the Buckeyes did, but how about this. You put down our program, you put down our conference, you put down our stadium, you put down everything about us but you forget these two things: One, we went 12-0, finished 5th in the nation AND beat Oklahoma with a football budget LOWER than your coach's salary. Two, give us a 90,000 seat stadium in the most fertile recruiting state and the resources that you have, and then you can talk to me about who deserves what. "Bigger isn't always better...Better is better"

what's your record against bcs schools during that same time? let me help you...5-11. and 5-17 all time. big time!

Let's see...going back to my first point about our football budget, I'd say we're doing pretty damn well. As far as the WAC is concerned, Steelers_86, point well taken. Nobody should have a 45-3 conference record over 6 years. I'm not here to apologize for the schedule we play, nor am I here to disrespect you, but you're comparing apples to oranges. Your programs talk about championships and dollar figures and attendance in numbers we can't even fathom. We're a small fish in a big-ass pond. You want to talk about fairer competiton, okay. Since the Mtn. West was formed, Boise State is 12-0 against them. Against C-USA, 1 loss (to a top-10 Louisville team). The MAC, 2-0 (back when Bowling Green actually had an NFL-caliber QB). I'm not going to compare us to you because frankly, we're not you. And Romocop, I can't believe I'm hearing that argument from a Buffs fan (see: Hawkins, Dan, Montana State University, and 2-10)

Texas has won 84 games the last 8 years, and they play in a BCS conference and play at least 4 ranked opponents a year. Just throwing it out there. Also Texas is the only team that has won at least 10 games the last 6 years. Again just throwing it out there, im reffering to your comment on USC being the only school with a similar Boise record.

Thank you, ESpurs, I didn't realize that. I stand corrected.

Hey I didn't know we had BSU fans...detroitpistons0

Yeah, I'm here. I have a hard time buying that they're underrated, but Henne-Hart are going to have a big year (sorry Irish fans). I'm not here to trash anybody or their team, but if you want to go there, I'll come out swinging.

It's going to seem like a really odd choice, but for Boise State, OG Tad Miller. A lot gets made about Ian Johnson and Ryan Clady, but the heart and soul of the Broncos' running game is a 6-3 320 lb. bowling ball with a mean streak a mile wide.

I can speak better than most. I was at the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. Without question it was the most unbelievable, surreal finish in football history, followed closely by UT-USC and Iowa-LSU. However, I wouldn't wish that heartbreaking a loss on ANY fan, especially not those that showed as much class in defeat as the Sooner fans. They may have lost the game, but on the class of their fans alone, they have gained much respect in PotatoLand.
