Just tried to log in and saw this. Anyone else have this screen? I visited Bungie.net and did not see a schedule. How long with this last? And why is my place in the queue 95483?

Any info would be appreciated.

Zones are not gonna capture themselves you know, love this game!

1. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2007.

Will go down in history as the shooter that changed FPS shooters and ushered in the standard for last and next gen gaming. For the time, the game displayed great visuals and game mechanics. The campaign contained a fluid story with memorable characters. In MW, we experienced some of the most intense action sequences that could match some current gen games. I know I will never forget Captain Price's flash back sniper segment, or the game's nuke sequence.

2. Halo: Combat Evolved 2001

Also a huge game changer in the FPS genre, although; COD is still the game that had the strongest impact. Unfortunately, Halo's story falls apart and, other than Master Chief, does not offer any long lasting impact when it comes to characters.

3. Resistance Series

I know, not a huge hit and not a favorite among the community. Although; Nathan Hale is one of Sony's faces and Resistance will remain as a game where tactics and skillset is not a priority. In a climate where gamers are looking for the most tactical and realistic shooting experience, Resistance allows players to have fun with ridiculous weapons and intense fire sequences that feel more like aimless brawls. In my opinion, Resistance also carries a more coherent story than my number 2.

[QUOTE="mffmiguel"][QUOTE="mffmiguel"] Interesting, will do. But really? No story at all? Is the main character a mute like Issac Clarke (DS1) or the nameless thug in GTAIII. Because those games were great but lacked a strong lead personality to associate with. I watched some videos that some guy posted earlier, and I am very interested based on the reviews. It mentions how the gameplay is the strongest aspect of the game. That, even though you will die a lot, you will improve and become more lethal as your progress which provides a strong sense of accomplishment, which I definately need in a game. locus-solus
You know come to think of it, I purchased the Team ICO collection which consisted of Shadow of Colossus and ICO. I loved both games, which have completely mute lead characters. Who developed the souls games?

From Software made the Soul Games & you are indeed mute in both Soul Games & i don't remember Ico & Shadow of the Colossus lead characters being mute they just don't speak in English

True. What I meant was that the lead characters in ICO and Shadow are not the chatter boxes that Nathan Drake or Chris Redfield are no matter the language.

Theres hardly no story or narrative in the souls games, there's hadly even any music except during boss battles, just silence and the noises from your surroundings.

When comparing to ES

Character creating isn't as extensive

Looting is minimal in comparison

Ranking and leveling is great

It will get easier but never boring easy

true the story narrative is vague and you have to hunt for it. if you want to understand the soul series you'll probably just have to look up the "lore" online thats what i ended up doing. youtube has a ton of content

I have never played the souls games, but, have heard excellent things about them. One thing that caught my attention the most was the difficulty of these games and that the frustration levels can escalate (which is a plus in my book, guess im weird). Although; I am big on good stories and if a game lacks in a compelling narrative I can loose intersest, or the game iteslf will begin to feel like a chore that I have to complete because I started it (which is not what im looking foward to this summer). Do these games parallel Elder Scrolls games in anyway? Is there an extensive character creation mechanic? Looting? Ranking system? Is there a point in the game where my character is such a badass that I can demolish savage beasts with ease (like my characters in ME and ES games). mffmiguel

Walking Dead telltale game.gago-gago
Oh, I intend to. Although; I do conisder myself a hardcore gamer and with the amount of time I will have on my hands I will burn through the episodes in a day or 2 in between everything else I am playing. [QUOTE="locus-solus"][QUOTE="23Jarek23"]

Yeah, the AC series is great but I don't know if you could handle playing more than 2 back to back. The series doesn't change all too much with each game other than location. I love them, but I don't think I could play more than 2 in a row.

God of War is great but you can burn through each game in about 8 hours.

Why not the souls games? Demons and Dark souls? Red dead is something that will keep you busy a long time.

Demons Souls and Dark Souls are two of my favorite games this gen! their moderately hard as the only default difficulty so you will need some patients and unless you look into the lore of the soul series there isn't a deep story. you can watch lore video on youtube. both Demons Souls and Dark Souls should last you over a 100+ hrs a piece Red Dead Redemption is fantastic and it does have a great story you should spend 50+ hrs on it if you do most of the side missions, challenges, and treasure hunting. it does have a Game of the Year Edition. You might want to look into Artsy games! Okami HD would be something to look into is absolutely gorgeous its a 60+ hr. longer for completionist. game god of war series has some of the best action games ever made in it! story wise 1 & 2 are the best. i don't remember about the psp remakes Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta. god of war 3 story wasn't very good but kinda redeemed itself by having some of the very best graphics on the ps3, god of war, saga collection is the cheapest way to buy with 5 of the 6 god of war games in it. Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta are downloadable only about 40 to 50 hrs of content. . . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=7e_x_WRyXM4 Okami HD http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=xd5u_LrqmPo Demon's Souls http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=KmLaLqYauTA Dark Souls http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=19N75TL1dHU Red Dead Redemption http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=gmIBO_U6XbM God of War 1 & 2

I was thinking of the KOTOR MMO. How is it? Is there a healthy population and community?

[QUOTE="mffmiguel"]I would agree that the ME story is the better of the the 3. Although; the exploring and looting from Oblivion and Skyrim have been way more satisfying IMO. New Vegas is not Fallout3 so that would be the only factor in putting that series at the bottom (was not impressed with New Vegas). Now for a new series that I have not played, my friends repeatedly tell me that the Batman Arkham games are a must play, the GOW series and The Assassins Creed series. Which of these stands at the top?? Lulekani
They are all different but if love looting more than anything then just subscribe to an MM0.

I would love to. Except I have no idea when Elder Scrolls Online is coming out. Would be cool if it were to be released this summer, but, fat chance.
