@RSM-HQ: I agree... especially about the lore of the Hyper monsters, even if I hope in a future come back of arts (surely they must be changed, but they can be useful in other ways).
Anyway I think that XX should be translated(tecnically they said that Switch version will not be translated ... So there is still hope for 3DS)... I mean... ok that Capcom seems interested only in World at this moment, ok that probably X and XX were rashed and some people in the west didn't like them... But at least give us the game.
I mean it's like if we got MH4 and not MH4U... a sense of betrayal... even worse than the time when MH abbandoned Playstation.
@tonkinese: I know ... and that's the problem, XX added new interesting stuff, hunter arts, new monsters and especially new areas with new lore.
We have already Generations so I don't see why they should not translate those new part of XX (they have a relatively small amount of sentences to translate.. The rest was already done).
I mean it's like if we got MH4 and not MH4U; Generations feels uncomplete now.. privated of things that could have make it a better game. I hope they'll localise the 3DS version at least.
If you consider new deviants, new monster, new hunter arts and especially new map with new lore not enough... Well ... I respect your view... But I totally disagree with it.
Surely it don't add many innovative stuff like World, but it still add something interesting and enjoyable by many people.
Personally I love how the games are localised in my language and generally in other language too... They add a little bit of majesty/elegance/ power/ sense of ancient beings to many monsters (it depends on language) + for people who cares about lore and stuff, yes, localisation is important as the gameplay.
Wait, they said Switch version... So there is still hope for 3DS version... right?
Anyway after this Capcom lost my trust
... I can see that they want to focus on World... But at least finish your older work first.
I'm really disappointed honestly... MH is one of those games where I wanted a localisation so that people can explore the lore and enjoy MH not only for the gameplay (+ in my language the localisation was spectacular).
