Not really suprising since Geoff Muligan COO of Deep Silver stated they won't be an early developer for any next gen system. He did say they'd be there eventually but for a smaller company like them it'd be better to wait. I wouldn't say it will never end up on next gen consoles if the game turns out to be successful. It won't be on either the PS4 or 720 early on though. I'd say they had it in development for both next gen systems while under THQ but being an early developer on next gen systems is not part of their business strategy.

Personally from my experiances with both systems I'd go with the PS3 in a heartbeat.

I wouldo thanksn't touch a subsidized model even if were $50. I can see it now people getting called from collection agencies/sued for breach of contract. No thanks. I know I am getting a ps4 not sure on the 720 yet and if i do it definately won't be a subsidized one. The If that was the case rent a center and rent 2 own would be the biggest electronics retail stores in the world.

If what has been reported about the $300 720 having the $15 a month contract for two years is true. It's more like an live overcharging for that model is true. It would cost you more that way in the long run.

I have it and the games do not come installed. You don't need a credit card to activate the 1-year ps plus subscription either.

I definately won't be buying any of the next-gen systems day 1. I had so many problems with reliability this gen with my day one purchase of the 360 and last gen the ps2. Hopefully the next-gen systems hold up out of the gate. Plus afte launch there is always a drought of releases especially good ones for awhile. I also have such an extensive backlog of games for my PS3 to keep me busy until there is a good selection of games. I definately will buy a PS4 though.

I think this is the first time I have ever looked forward to a Tomb Raider Game this much. Looks amazing! Hopefully it turns out.
