@BFG-28 I feel this emotion, but it shouldn't have to be this way. I don't want to fork over hard earned money for a placeholder game. Developers should not be allowed to say "It'll be better on the next console." I want the game to be strong and look good on any console that it's released for.
That being said, I can forgive some of this because the lead time for a GT game is so long, I'm sure they couldn't shift gears (heh) that quickly to be on the PS4 and Polyphony Digital has had a reputation for developing games whenever they want, regardless of where we are in the console cycle. I'm sure GT7 will be fantastic on the PS4, but still doesn't excuse GT6 from being the best game it can be.
I've owned every GT since the PSone, but I haven't played GT6 yet. The best thing they could do for me is bring back B-spec racing.
I agree. I think a part of it is a poor name choice. Someone bought my godson a Wii U game for Christmas, but he only had a Wii at the time. There was not enough distinction for folks to know the Wii U was a new console. I'm sure a lot of folks thought they could buy the tablet and keep their old system.
@Imperiacommando This was best handled by GT4's B-spec system. In GT5, you had to race both A-spec and B-spec in all races to get 100%. I say allow one or the other and you've got the makings of a multi-million selling game on your hands!
