Xbox has been rumored to hope this is the last generation. Instead of new systems they want to do hardware updates to the current gen making games playable no matter which version you own. That would be a nice solution but I find it hard to believe.

@valgaav_219: Yes there are lots of games you'd miss out on owning each console solely. Thats why you buy all three and binge on games.

I highly doubt a new playstation console is coming. They will want to compete with project Scorpio but I dont see it this soon. Maybe 2019-2020

True I agree, they sell better then they should. A game should not come out without a campaign in my opinion.

I'll wait closer to launch and buy it on the best console available. I own em all so it dont matter to me which is the better version.
