@abHS4L88 @shadowboy88 @gamist Look at early commercials in the 90's when Sega and Nintendo were at each others throats. Sega's main campaign was "better graphics and faster gameplay" but that still didn't beat the Italian plumber or the Hero of Time. Nintendo has proven on both fronts, handheld and home console, that power isn't the main source for a great game but gameplay reigns supreme over that. Sony has some great titles like The Last of Us and Uncharted, but Nintendo has the games that are the most simple to pick up and play. I'm sticking with Wii U and PS4 this next gen. I want quality AND quantity.
@nickpeck36 It's not just about changing things. It's not that simple when you say "We can't just flip the switch". Microsoft had a vision for their console. They didn't know how to communicate their vision, and completely did a 180 on their vision. So now, whatever the X1 was going to be with DRM, it won't be. It's just another box with Kinect. Microsoft is slowly changing their decisions before their console is even out.
Sony could just dump the camera because honestly, their a waste. It's extra $$ being put in which is hardly usable. There's no need to make it mandatory. I won't buy one so that means, devs won't spend more time and $$ making a silly gimmick into their game. $$ that can be spent elsewhere for the game.
I've never seen so much backtracking in ANY company before. I think what's left is to get Kinect 2.0 separate from the X1 and the console will look much more appealing.
@EDX1 @King-gamer Equally no. As you can see, devs start saying they don't know how to utilize the gamepad's screen on Wii U yet, games are now using tablets as a second screen. Weird right since majority of the people scoffed at a 2nd screen gameplay? PS4/One will still be considered the HD Twins. That's a bad hing because that means there's little to distinguish between the two. Great hardware specs but that's it. Exclusives will come but I mean, Nintendo is going a completely different direction than them.
@b74kd3th But people are judging the Wii U too early. Little games at start true. But it's not a race but a marathon. Nintendo is bringing the games. Slowly but they will come. Their 3DS handheld is doing incredible numbers at retail so that's keeping them afloat for now until their main console picks up steam.
@EDX1 No. Every ignorant internet troll will agree with you. People (fanboys) tend to forget how much Nintendo actually has in the bank. They're in the Billions. They're not going anywhere in the next 10 years.
