[QUOTE="InTheBible"][QUOTE="Sully28"]You do relize in gears of war all you do is take cover and shoot? All you do in halo is run around and shoot? Open your eyes, all games have a concept and stick with it, lairs is flying dragons into battle. There is tons of diversity, fighting HUGE bosses, Fighting whole armies of foot troops and their ground creatures, fighting other dragons. HB you find a logical reason on how it will suckRedfingers
In Gears you can Chainsaw your enemies, online play, jump over barriers, blow up your enemies (into 5 different pieces with ragdoll), stick people, use smoke granades, snipe, sprint, curb stomp, shoot bodies on the ground and watch them blow up. And more! InLair ur a dragon shooting stuff with your lazer vision... Anything else?
dismount by leaping on an enemy dragon, tearing its rider off, slicing his throat in mid-air, remounting your dragon in descent.
Fighting giant sea serpents, gliding amidst giant floating manta rays, tearing off animal's heads...
initiating close-quarters combat with another dragon, ramming it, clawing it, biting its neck, burning it, dropping it out of the sky...
Stomping, burning, blowing up massive armies...
blowing up bridges, other context-sensitive situations,
blow up ships, massive boss battles.
Chainsaw=lol. Gears really is "Cover+shoot." The bosses are pathetic.
To quote the developer of Lair, shooting enemies with your fireballs is boring. Hence, the close-quarters arial combat. They will ensure you will not be shooting fireballs the entire game, this is to be sure. For reassurance, read the above. It's everything I've seen so far.
good points but for him/her not of that matters since him/her have already played the game
