As long as I don't get told 10 times every 5 minutes that Kojima conceived, produced, wrote, scripted, directed and developed it (a la MGS5) I'm happy, but I'm not sure the guy's ego would allow that.
And clearly now he earns so much money it has lost all value to him, hence being able to say $175k is "nothing". Imagine how many people worked their heart out on that movie and didn't get anywhere close to that.
Watch a few seconds of gameplay, skip forward, 30s advert for Black Desert. Skip forward twice again watching a few seconds, and then ANOTHER identical 30s advert for Black Desert... see how that would be annoying?
If you'd have said to me 20yrs ago that in 2019 games would be free but people would have to pay for optional skins I would've laughed and said people aren't that vain / stupid.
@cappy: I give up my frames for no man :) However I would totally buy Cyberpunk from GOG to support them. They definitely need to advertise the fact they don't have to pay Steam a frankly pathetic 30% when bought direct from them - as you said, they have a good enough reputation for people to see it as supporting them, instead of them being greedy.
You can boot games from GOG Galaxy 2.0 but you do still need to wait for the original client to get running in the background
So when the game runs, not only is GOG running but also uplay/origin/steam/epic/whatever? Wow what a waste of time, I try to get as little as possible running when I play games, not add more bloat.
One of the cute things about the Tobii eye tracker is that some games have "Clean UI", meaning HUD elements are faded or removed (and don't clutter your peripheral vision) but instantly appear when you look at that part of the screen. A subtle change, but welcome.
