Hey guys, we thought we'd drop you a line to let you know that our sister site CNET UK has just launched a tournament to determine the Greatest Gadget of the 21st Century, and the Xbox 360, the PS3, the Wii, the Nintendo DS and the PSP have all made it into the running, alongside 27 other rather tasty bits of tech.
From Monday you'll be able to vote for your favourite bits of tech as they square off against each other, so it's the perfect opportunity to help out your favourite consoles -- or punish those you despise with a spot of tactical voting. You've still got two days before voting kicks off, during which time you can predict the outcome of the overall tournament, with the chap or chapette that makes the most accurate prediction overall winning an Xbox 360 with Kinect. Tidy.
If you're more of a lover than a fighter when it comes to consoles, maybe you'd also be keen to know the tournament features PCs and Macs, Android and the iPhone and even HD-DVD and Blu-ray squaring off, with a bucketload of prizes to be won simply for voting.
Because at the end of the day it's not the winning that counts, it's winning and also managing to walk away with armfuls of prizes, laughing like a crazy person and kicking your fallen foes in the face. Really hard.
