The Xbox 360 looks noticeably better. I'm glad I went with the Xbox 360. PS3 is pretty weak. And please don't mention MGS4. Gears of War 2 has big graphical improvements over the original and will probably end up looking better than MGS4, even on a 9GB disc and with less development time.

In this comparison, the Xbox 360 seems to have better color, better texture, and a better draw distance. The PS3 looks washed out and blurry. If the PS3 was the better machine, it should've been able to show up the Xbox 360 by now, which is certainly hasn't. They seem fairly even but I have to give the hat tip to the Xbox 360. Gears of War 2 is going to be even more exceptional than the first in terms of its gameplay and being a visual masterpiece. Cheers.

The graphics probably aren't as absolutely as good as they could have been but I would still give them a grade of B in comparison to what could have been done and other games that are currently out. The game still looks excellent (and obviously much better than halo 2) and is great fun. People will be playing this game for years to come.

Well. It IS BETTER. But how much better? If this new model drops below $150, I may very well pick it up.

lol, are the next-gen consoles that unpromising? What about MGS4, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Killzone 2, Forza 2, FF XIII, DMC4, etc. ad infinitum. THE ONLY THING LEFT FOR PS2 is GOW2 and QW so I can understand the pics to a certain extent... And DS? I thought the reason they were selling so well is because every third grader in every country was pestering their parents to buy them one, I had no idea editor's were looking forward to the kind of drab play offered up by any handheld. I guess I'm just crazy for wanting eye-candy and force feedback / motion sensing controllers while playing in Hd on my 60" w/ 5.1 surround. :?

I know absolutely nothing about graphics cards, and the one in my computer sounds crappy just when I say it out loud. But can anyone tell me how well it will perform vs an xbox 360. Remember I have no idea. My computer says the card is: ATI Radeon X600 PCI Express 256 MB, HyperMemory, Core Clock in MHz = 398 MHz. Some of my computer specs are: Pentium(R) D 2.8GHz, 1.0GB of RAM
